The Savior Code

“Is that  a Marc Anthony song?”

Such is life, we had to resort to Marc Anthony to save us…It was one of those moments where you want to get out of a situation and luckily had decided beforehand on what I call, a Savior Code. So, our code was “Marc Anthony”.  Whenever one of us was ready to leave, we had to mention the words “Marc Anthony”.

I’m not sure what was funnier: the code, the way it was said or the fact that we had one.  Perhaps it’s the way the person communicates their anxiety and desire to leave the situation and the Savior Code lets the person do it in the opposite way of what they are feeling: creative, graceful, politically correct, hidden and amusing manner.  Either way, very useful.
